Annenberg Presidential Conference Center | Texas A&M University
1002 George Bush Dr. W | College Station, Texas
Arrival time and parking
Students must arrive by 2 p.m. Parking is available in Lot 41.
Check in
All students must check in immediately upon arrival. Follow the posted signage inside Annenberg. Students must be in their designated seats 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
Student seating
The front rows are reserved for graduates in alphabetical order. Seating assignments will be provided at check in, and staff will be available inside the auditorium to help you find your assigned seat.
Dress code
Wear your graduation regalia (no mortarboard/cap) with business professional attire underneath. Graduate students should bring their hood.
Ceremony length
The ceremony lasts approximately one hour.
Walking the stage
All students will come forward to receive their nursing pin or hood. Line up one row at a time. When the person on the right side of your row stands, follow them, emptying your row and lining up in the right aisle not to block the view of the audience. As your name is called, begin walking up the steps to the stage. After receiving your pin or hood, walk across the stage and return to your seat.
Awards
College of Nursing awards will be given out during the ceremony. Graduates receiving an award will be announced as they walk the stage.
Guests
In order to accommodate seating capacity, each graduate may invite up to eight guests.
Accessible seating
Email nursingadmissions@tamu.edu if seating accommodations are needed for you or a guest.
